I can see taking advantage of the higher resolution to make it look nice but in today’s digital world I think having the option to make it run on a lower resolution monitor/screen would be nice. I have read that some computers can’t be made to recognize the port as the default monitor and I think it needs to be in that mode for the S6L software to work.

My computer has a DisplayPort and I have borrowed a cable that is a DP to HDMI and I am going to (one of these days) try and hook it up to my 4K TV and see if I can get the off line software to work on that.
